In this role you'll:

1) Analyze customer process user requirements specification for engineered process equipment (including different technologies such as mixing, bioreactors, storage systems etc.) used in biotech processes.2) Take ownership and be the technical lead from the initial customer enquiry phase until final sign of the project.3) Provide technical support to sales and customers regarding Pall's Biotech product line.

Goal of the Position:

The Project Manager analyses our customer process user requirements specification for engineered process equipment used in biotech processes. Thereafter he/she takes ownership and is the technical lead from the initial customer enquiry phase until final sign of the project. During the whole project, he/she provides technical and hands-on support to sales and customers regarding Pall's Biotech product line!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the detailed technical process clarification (technology selection, sizing, design testing etc.) together with the customer on requested equipment;
  • Elaboration (Technical) of the engineered equipment and single use solution. Including the technical proposal and costing;
  • Coordinate responses to Requests for Information (RFI) from customers regarding single use systems and configure single use system designs;
  • Responsible and owner of the proposed equipment solution during project execution with a multidisciplinary team;
  • Coordinate technical elaboration of detail design;
  • Responsible for the documentation (technical) in accordance to the specification for the project;
  • Execute and coordinate all qualification activities included in the project (pre-FAT, SAT);
  • Assist customers in qualification and validation activities if requested.

Education, Skills and Competencies:

Minimum a Bachelor degree in Engineering, Biochemical, Process Engineering, Biotechnology..., or equivalent by experience. A Master degree in a related subject is an advantage;

A first experience of process engineering / project engineering with Biopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment;

Experience in the design and engineering of process equipment within a multicultural environment;

Experience with outside subcontractors including mechanical fabricators, electronic fabricators, Software designers and automation specialists.

Experience in qualification activities (FAT/SAT) for process equipment in the biopharmaceutical industry.
